Although! I plan to work in a lot more crafts, kids, activities, and other mommy related topics into this blog. (As if there is anything else to blog about!)
And so it begins...
Today I felt the need to perform a front room/office/learning room makeover. Spontaneously of coarse, but with great UMPH I cleared chairs and rugs out and began. I wanted to make a space that the kids can do crafts, learn, read, etc.... without having to be upstairs. And let's face it... the play room is so messy most of the time, WHY would I attempt to do art is a space you can barely walk in. The easel was already planted firmly in the appropriate room (although this was only because we hadn't officially found a space for it... ahuhh... since February). So the easel moved a few feet, the craft table came down the stairs, and I had a perrrfffeeccctt idea for a recent discovery in the garage! And now behold...
It is obviously not finished yet... and let's be honest... nor will it ever be probably. But having a place to put art projects, there is NOTHING MORE AMAZING!! (I just laughed, oye)
I didn't take a picture of the before. But I did manage to take a picture of how with two sleeping kids and no husband around I was able to hang that sucker. I had to dodge it a few times as it came plummeting down, successfully dodge.
And for some reason the picture doesn't want to turn the correct way. But that, my friends, is talent. Maybe.
The best part is that is cost me $0.00!
The splash mat that is under the easel is really upside down so the edges don't want to stay flat. It is however, duct taped to the carpet. (Look closely, you can see it!) Stay classy!
